Sweating Problems

Let us face it, no ones like to see a sweating person, let alone shake his hands or be anywhere close to him. It is as irritating for the other person as it is embarrassing for the one is suffering from this condition. Thankfully, once the underlying causes have been identified, it is quite possible to keep sweating under control.

Before looking for a cure, one must understand why he is having sweating problems. There are a number of factors that can lead to this condition, like hot weather, high stress levels, obesity, too much coffee or nicotine in the body, menopause, anger, depression, genetics, menstruation, or a condition called hyperhidrosis that leads to too much perspiration.

Excessive sweating is a problem for sure but it does not mean that a person who is suffering from this condition has to live with it for the rest of his life. Of course there are traditional medical treatments that can cure excessive sweating, but before opting for them it is advisable that one tries some of the equally effective natural and home remedies.

To start with, let us look at the remedies for sweaty palms and feet, the first often the main reason why many people dread being in social situations where they must shake hands, and others, who are aware of a person’s sweaty palms, choose to keep safe distance from him.

Thankfully there is away to control this sweating problem, with the application of talcum powder or some kind of medicated powder on the palms and feet. Now let us look at an even major problem area — the underarms. If sweaty palms and feet can be kept a secret till ones has to shake hands or be in a situation where his feet are exposed, no such luck with sweaty underarms! It is disgusting to say the least, with those huge wet patches on one’s shirt and the stink that accompanies the look.

The natural remedy that has been proven effective in curing sweaty armpits is a simple one — drinking a cup of sage tea on a daily basis. Another tried and tested method is to apply the juice of a lemon on the underarms before going to bed.

As common as underarm sweating is the problem of excessive head sweating; some start sweating excessively when they walk or run, while some suffer from this condition even when they are relaxing. Lack of adequate amount of vitamins in one’s diet is believed to be the reason behind this condition; hence one must include vitamin rich foods in one’s diet to get rid of this condition.

With the help of these natural remedies, one may be able to stop sweating problems to a large extent, without having to spend too much money on expensive drugs and injections.
